The Business Services team, focused on delivering back office applications/services to support external and internal stakeholders is seeking a/an (Associate) Product Manager.
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Business Services, the successful candidate will join a team of product SMEs responsible for shaping the direction and capability set for the Back Office product/services portfolio. The core mandate of the team is to establish a product roadmap that will lead to the delivery of industry-leading and innovative application/services to support its licensees as well as internally, for employees across the enterprise.
Job Responsibilities
Publish, develop, manage and coordinate the execution of a product/service roadmap
Liaise with internal and external parties (e.g., Customers, account management, Finance, industry experts, Development) to acquire insight for scoping of new product/service features and enhancements and execution (e.g., Program Management Office, Operations)
Author product requirement and functional specification documents; lead document review/walkthrough sessions with key stakeholders to solicit feedback
Work closely with other Product Managers within the Back Office to ensure that there is consistent and unified product/service offering
Gather competitive intelligence and market research within and outside the gaming industry via industry conferences and trade shows, industry journals, customers etc.
Respond to product/service-related queries from internal and external business community as an SME (subject matter expert) for back office product/services
Design and create product collateral for use in marketing and sales opportunities
Design and create of presentations and relevant product/service demonstrations for sales opportunities; participate in the sales cycle for new business opportunities
Assess new product/services opportunities you or others have identified
Participate in business case development for new product/service ideas
Participate in supplier/vendor product/service evaluations
Participate in authoring RFI and RFP responses for new business prospects
Lead regular communication sessions with key stakeholders to solicit input, feedback and other information exchange
Qualifications
University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalents
5+ years demonstrated experience in the role of a Product Manager and/or Business/Systems Analyst
Exceptional business and technical acumen; demonstrated experience working effectively with both business and IT communities
Excellent communication skills (both oral, written and presentation)
Strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical ability
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work effectively autonomously and with others
Self-motivated
Experience in the online/land-based Gaming industry
Experience working in a software development organization
Background in analytics/statistics, e-commerce payment systems, customer experience management
