CNA Executive Search has a growing presence in the Not-for-Profit/ Charity sector. This includes not only Charity Commission registered charities but also, housing associations, universities and NGOs. At the end of June 2008 there were 169,498 main charities registered with the Charity Commission in England and Wales with a combined income of £46.16 billion. The top 5.3% of charities account for almost 90% of the total income. The largest 722 charities, with an annual income of more than £10 million each, now attract 52% of the total income.

Private Finance Initiative – PFI
The Private Finance Initiative (PFI), launched in 1992, provides a way of increasing private sector involvement in the provision of public services, without immediate recourse to the public capital reserves. Private consortia, usually involving large construction firms, are contracted to design, build, and in some cases manage new projects. Contracts typically last for 30 years, during which time the building is leased by a public authority. A plethora of projects including: Education, Healthcare, Transport, Police and Prison facilities are commonplace.CNA Executive Search has been involved in PFI projects for many years and has a wealth of contacts within major contractors in this £multi-million, securely funded market.
